Can we do roll call prior to discussing the Agenda?
Harry Bernstein
11:59
I had to ask for help in finding the website for Facilities, especially the agenda. A search through the Participatory Governance Council Committees led me to meetings and materials from 2020

Let’s have a reminder about the special Evans/Airport meeting with Board President Shamann Walton taking place on Friday, February 26 at 3:30 p.m.
MICHAEL SNIDER
24:40
Is there a time limit on speaking.
MICHAEL SNIDER
28:27
Lets have him write up his statement and move on. We shouldn't have to be delayed and hear the same thing over and over.
Harry Bernstein
28:29
The staff summary of what I said missed the primary point of some of my comments.
Wynd Kaufmyn
37:44
That means you were building antibodies. So that's good. But I'm sorry you had to suffer.
Wynd Kaufmyn
39:04
My daughter would not let it go when I told her I was not eligible. Me being a CC teacher is not the same as teaching K-12. But she keep after me and showed me who to contact. So when I got this appointment within 10 minute walk from my house, I couldn't refuse.
Wynd Kaufmyn

Phizer.
Harry Bernstein
43:29
It’s hard to hear her
DAVID HARRINGTON
43:42
To date, for all these years not a word has been said about sustainable building materials, i.e. far less costly high-strength truss and shear walled lumber instead of the far more costly site-built, wild fire-inducing concrete and steel. We have our current fiscal condition to bear in mind. The least-cost methods should be our top priority!
Ilona McGriff
50:41
I have to step away for a bit. David Lee is an alternate.
MICHAEL SNIDER
51:18
I have to attend a medical meeting.
Harry Bernstein
56:33
In spite of the threat from the community of a lawsuit based on environmental concerns?
Harry Bernstein

I’ll say

They've been cut from 13.5 FTEF to 9.5 FTEF from Fall 2020 to Spring 2021. FTEF allocation for Fall 2021 is 5!
Wynd Kaufmyn
01:07:09
These numbers are public,
Wynd Kaufmyn
01:07:29
They being the FTEF at Evans
Harry Bernstein
01:07:53
The preliminary budgets from the administration can certainly be seen as a sign of intentions. Things may change.
Wynd Kaufmyn
01:09:40
Stephan Brady cited them at the last EMC meeting.

01:09:52
At the last Bd of Trustees Facilities Meeting, the committee voted to recommend to the board an increase in contract for architectural planning by around 100% for 1440 Evans,. The firm is being tasked to create parallel plans, one including the AMT program and the other without. Is this increase premature whem the environmental report isn't in and Supervisor Walton is holding a town hall to push to return the AMT program to the airport.
Harry Bernstein
01:10:14
That is the information Dean Bynum could have been aware of.
Wynd Kaufmyn
01:19:10
Gotta got!

01:37:16
I think that Harry’s dig at Dean Bynum does not support our goal of civil behavior.
DAVID HARRINGTON
01:40:34
That new space should be extended from the existing building, per CCSF's 2009 "Sustainability Plan"-- reuse 75% - 100%. Not demolish and replace at the same height! If older Cloud and worse-condition Arts Buildings, and Evans are being renovated -- so should Conan, especially if we care about our budget deficit!
Maria Salazar-Colón
01:41:04
I agree with you Ilona and the bad behaviors from some individuals is getting out of hand on this committee
Ilona McGriff
01:43:50
Indeed.
